F1RST BLOG EVER!!!

So this is the first blog that I have ever posted in my life. I am sort of excited and stressed about it at the same time! What, with all the gadgets and craziness to add-I do not know where to start! I am a full-time student at Parkland College and I am trying to work part time to stay afloat. Aside from all the personal stuff, I have to post graphic design images that I like or attract me to them and mention where I found the image, what it stands for, dicuss its quality, and describe its function.

"9 Lives"

I thought that this was a pretty cool idea to the battery brand Eveready.  The drawing was inked up by Mark Fox.  Art Director: Jeff Carino of Landor Associates.  It literally jumped out at me while flipping through the Adobe Illustrator CS3 Wow! Book looking for good graphic design.  I did not know about the brand of battery which this image was made for, but I sure knew what the meaning of the symbols were right away.

    This is a really creative ad, to use a cat and how they are suppose to have nine lives.
